1. Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one
comes to the Father but by Him. (John
14:6; 3:16).We also believe in the Triune God. God the Father,
the Son, and the Holy Spirit
are one.
2. Man is created in His image. The devil came to kill, steal,
and destroy but Jesus came that we
may have life and have it abundantly. (John 10:10b; Isaiah
53:5). All men need salvation in
Christ by faith. Saved individuals become children of God
and the infilling of the Holy Spirit empowers
them to understand, apply, and share His word in their daily
walk.
3. All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching
the truth, rebuking error, correcting faults,
and giving instructions for right living. (2Tim 3:16)
4. The ministry team fully recognizes that it is not by might
nor by power but by His spirit that the spiritually
dark places will be transformed. It fully acknowledges God’s
anointing to preach the gospel
to the poor, to proclaim freedom for the prisoners, recovery
of the sight of the blind, release
the oppressed, and to proclaim the year of the Lord’s
favor (Luke 4:18-19;
Ezekiel 36:25-27&36).
5. The church is made up of believers with one Lord, one faith,
one baptism, one God and one Father
of all people. They choose to belong to one spiritual family
acknowleding, declaring, and
applying the Lordship of Christ in all its congregational
and personal affairs. The bible is
the sole source of reference. In them and thru them, the love,
power, mercy, grace, authority
and all the character of God are to be actively demonstrated.
The church should continually
nurture a spiritual atmosphere that allows God to empower
believers to experience His
word alive and active. More importantly, the church should
join God's heartbeat for the
lost, the poor, the oppressed, the captives, and all those
who need to be ushered to the
kingdom of God. (John 3:16; Psalms 133:11, Ephesianns 4:5)
6. The family is a unit where the most foundational essence
of Christianity can be concretely taught
and demonstrated. This starts by putting Christ at the center
of all their lives and their daily
living. Like the church, the bible is also the main point
of reference for all its members’ conduct
especially in the area of commitment, discipline, finances,
and the rest of its affairs. Christ
Jesus is the head and the husband is the pastor, the leader,
and the priest. The husband
is also anointed to provide, discipline, and protect; while
the wife is also anointed by
God to be the husband’s helpmate. The children should
honor God and their parents and
avail opportunities to know and experience God to become people
of purpose and destiny. (Psalms
112; 133:1; Proverbs 22:6; Psalms 127; Ephesians 4:21-33;
Ephesians 6:1-4)
